Canada Extra-Dry – Developed for the ’23-24 testing season, used in racing in Western Canada, and did well in testing in the east. Testing has been primarily done by Mike Mappin in Canmore.
The liquid form of this wax exists because Mike made an impromptu liquid formulation, using a mild solvent to rinse out the empty containers. He applied some to a ski and immediately had success. All Star liquids include ingredients to help with adhesion/durability – the “Extra Dry Liquid” test that Mike made really only works as a proof of concept. But I replicated his process in our shop and was satisfied with the outcome. Davide has agreed to produce a “real” Canada Extra Dry Liquid for us based on these experiences. This product hasn’t been on snow in the “real” form yet, but the concept is well proved. We have a limited quantity of this product for this season.
