For coarse wet snow conditions and variable coarse conditions. This is one of the faster true strong universal klisters on the market. It feels very soft during application - almost "watery" (maybe because of it's clear color), but it hardens considerably on the ski, and tends to win tests. It's also an excellent base klister for covering with hard wax in refrozen transformed snow. Remarkably, we've also had it run very well on its own in saturated fine grained snow, testing against the normal range of tacky klisters that we'd expect to have running well in those conditions. This is one of the klisters that everybody should have in their box.

Excellent in Variable Conditions

I tried this out the other day on what should have been extremely problematic snow: two day old fine granular at 40F and full afternoon sun, three inches of base over asphalt. The sun had just come out, so moisture varied from mostly dry in the shade to gray slush in the open. A thin layer of this over whatever hard wax was already on the skis gave bomber kick all the way around. It was a bit grabby in the shade, but seemed to release well.
This is turning into my to-to for spring conditions.
