Star Next Solid Paraffin has the same high quality paraffin material as the Next Powder, but a lower concentration of the ceramic additive. Next solid is outstanding training wax, and base wax for race paraffin.
For optimal performance, we usually see a benefit to multiple layers of the appropriate ironed race paraffin. Anytime we iron paraffin, we're creating a dilution with whatever is already in the base, and multiple layers of the same paraffin help to "clarify the signal". Next solid is a perfect way to prepare the base for Next powder if you don't want to do multiple powder applications. It's also excellent base prep, training, and storage wax.
