The Dark products from Star are formulated specifically for transformed and manmade snow. They use totally different base paraffin than the normal Next products, and also contain a new polymer additive as well as a new ultralight graphite.
Dark Warm has been very successful in early testing in the 2023-24 season in a wide range of quite wet conditions. It doesn't appear to be as demanding of transformed crystals as the Dark Medium and Cold products. It's also worth testing Dark Warm in colder temps is the snow is transformed and quite coarse. The whole dark line is quite hard compared to the standard Next product line.
