Rode Vario Blue (stick, 45g) -1/-8

Klister/mix waxes have been a staple in racing for a very long time, and as racing becomes more reliant on manmade snow and continues to utilize shorter loop courses with heavier grooming equipment and higher skier traffic, the need for hardwax/klister blends increases dramatically. For years, the most successful klister mix waxes have been home-made, or small-batch mixes made from existing products. Magnar wax and OP - two semi-available waxes in use in racing, are both home-made blends. Like all self-respecting waxers, we took our turn coming up with some mix recipes and had some success. Eventually we collaborated with Star to produce the M-series waxes from raw material (they're not mixes of pre-existing waxes). Those waxes joined the Start Oslo series as some of the only klister-blends available from the major manufacturers to the general market. 

Now Rode joins the party with these new Vario waxes. Our understanding is that these are mixes of existing Rode waxes. Rode has been the mainstay of kick waxing for most discerning waxers for decades. We're really excited to have these in our race kit and will enjoy the process of getting to know them. Rode doesn't produce duds. I could share the boilerplate text on what conditions these waxes are made for, but if you know klister mix waxes, then you know why you want these.
